Governor of Lebanon’s Central Bank, Riyad Salameh, said, in a statement on Monday, that all news and figures circulating recently on social media are “exaggerated” and “far from the reality”, adding that they only seek to tamper with the image of the central bank and its governor.
He also stressed that he would not dwell on the numbers and figures since the dossier was now in the hands of the Lebanese and Swiss judiciary.
