The General Assembly of Middle East Airlines – Air Liban shareholders has renewed the election of the current Board of Directors for a three-year term. The re-elected members are: Mohamad El-Hout, Marwan Salha, Sami Matta, and Fouad Fawaz. Richard Mujaes was appointed as a new board member, replacing Michel Tueni, who expressed his desire not to continue in his position.
Following the General Assembly meeting, the Board of Directors convened and re-elected Mohamad Abdul Rahman El-Hout as Chairman and General Manager of the company for a tenth term.
It is worth noting that El-Hout is the seventh chairman of the company, having been appointed in 1998. The previous chairmen of the company are:
1. Saeb Salam (1945–1956)
2. Najib Alameddine (1956–1977)
3. Assad Nasr (1977–1982)
4. Salim Salam (1982–1992)
5. Abdul Hamid Fakhoury (1992–1995)
6. Khaled Salam (1995–1998)
7. Mohamad El-Hout (1998–Present)
