Lebanon and the summer of the sixth Arab Championship in the Union Rugby Sevens

The Lebanese Rugby Union team achieved second place in the sixth Arab Rugby Sevens for Men, which was held at the Arab Academy for Maritime Transport Stadium in the Egyptian city of Alexandria.

In the final match, the Lebanese national team faced the Egyptian national team, in an enthusiastic meeting that ended in favor of the landowners with a score of 14-0.

The Lebanese national team qualified for the final match after defeating Syria 47-7 in an exciting match in which Laurent Zalloum (2), Alexander Sioufi (2), Jean-Marie Rizkallah (2), and Hassan El-Gammal scored for Lebanon.

The Lebanese team will leave Alexandria tomorrow, Sunday, heading to Cairo and from there to Beirut, to arrive at 6:15 pm.
