Caretaker Public Health Minister, Hamad Hassan, visited the Jezzine Governmental Hospital this morning, where he met with its director, administrative body and medical team.
The hospital director, Dr. Charbel Massad, briefed the caretaker Health Minister about the hospital’s needs and admission capacity, “as 15 corona beds and 6 intensive care beds have been prepared, with 19 Corona patients currently receiving treatment at the hospital.”
Massad urged Hassan to help in securing some needed supplies for the kidney dialysis section to facilitate the non-transfer of dialysis patients to other places, among other pressing demands, while Minister Hassan promised to follow up on the matter.
