Elias Abu Rashid retained the mountain bike championship for the sixth year in a row

Selata Youth Club player Elias Abu Rasheed won the “Mountain Bike” Lebanon Championship, organized by the Lebanese Cycling Federation in Dhour El Choueir.

Abu Rashid led the race from its start, edging away from his nearest competitor Zaher Al-Hajj (Aley Club for Cycling) by ten minutes, crossing the race distance (6 laps) in 1:12:06 hours, to retain the title of this category for the sixth year in a row.
And Abdullah Salloum (Aley Cycling Club) came in third: 1:23:11.
The former champion, international adventurer Maxim Chaaya, distributed the cups to the winners in the presence of game lovers and members of the Lebanese Cycling Federation.
The race was supervised by its director, Kaiser Salloum, who set up the track. The contestants were accompanied by an ambulance and emergency squad from the Lebanese Red Cross.
