BDL Central Council issues decision to pay depositors $400 Fresh dollars and its equivalence in Lebanese pounds per month

BDL Central Council on Friday held an extraordinary session, headed by Central Bank Governor Riad Salameh, in the presence of his four deputies and the Director-General of the Ministry of Economy, Mohammad Abu Haidar.

As per a statement by BDL Media and Public Relations Unit, it said that the Council unanimously adopted a decision obliging banks to monthly pay depositors $400 in fresh cash and the equivalent of $400 in Lebanese lira based on the Sayrafa platform rate.
