Caretaker Minister of Information, Manal Abdel Samad, indicated that upon an agreement with the Health Ministry and the national Vaccine Registration Committee, journalists would be among the firsts to be vaccinated against coronavirus.
“We have agreed with the MoPH and the national vaccine committee to give priority to journalists, since they are in the front lines covering events,” she told an interview on Al-Jadeed channel.
Commenting on the progressive lockdown exit, Abdel Samad highlighted the necessity to abide by the process to avoid chaos.
She also underlined the importance of relying on credible and scientific sources while tackling vaccination.
